Black Radishes

Most would argue that there is little flavor distinction between the black radish and other radish varieties. The black skin, however, is a little tougher than with other radish varieties. A frequent use of this radish is to slice thinly (almost like a chip) and use the radish as a scoop with tasty dips. The spicy flavor of the radish serves as a nice carrier vessel for the dip.
