Napa Cabbage

Napa cabbage (sometimes called Chinese cabbage), along with bok choy, is one of the most  popular cabbage vegetables in China. Napa’s sweet, crunchy celery flavored leaves are one of the most important ingredients in oriental cuisine. Napa cabbage is amazingly versatile, being used for cole slaw, kimchi, in a stir-fry, as a taco topping, braised, in spring rolls and more. The nutritional value of Napa cabbage is much higher than the regular green cabbage. This type of cabbage is full of Vitamin C, fiber, Vitamin K, Vitamin A and Antioxidants. Like most of the green vegetables, Napa cabbage is also an important source of vitamins like thiamin, riboflavin, pyridoxine and pantothenic acid.
