Rapini

This leafy green veggie is also known as broccoli rabe, but - it is NOT broccoli at all!  It is actually closely related to turnips which is why rapini’s leafs look familiar to turnip greens.  It is an excellent source of vitamin C and contains beta-carotene and fiber. Rapini has a slightly bitter flavor and goes quite well with a little olive oil and garlic.
